Colour Stylist – Practical Training
Do you want to become a colour analyst or colour stylist? Follow the contemporary, professional colour stylist training at the Colour Analysis Academy. Start with the three-day training, and if you wish you can later add the Colour Stylist: Advanced course. This way, you’ll become a true colour consultant!
During the practical Colour Stylist training, you will learn how to conduct thorough and professional colour analyses, complemented with a comprehensive colour advice. We cover the top colours for each colour type, along with fun colour combinations for clothing, jewelry, accessories, hair, and makeup.
You will learn to work with the six main colour types: Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring, Cool, and Warm. Most people fall into one of these categories. In the lessons, you will practice using both individual colour drapes and colour flags. This allows you to provide your clients with either a quick colour consultation or a detailed one. The course materials include a handbook and our latest book: “Mooi met Kleding”.

Colour drapes from Colour Analysis Academy
The colour drapes from the Colour Analysis Academy include both matte and shiny variants, so you can perfectly match them to the clothing someone is wearing. Suede, for example, is matte, while leather is often shiny. Shine enhances colour, allowing you to see even better how a colour works for someone.
Would you like to see the drapes? You’re very welcome to visit the studio in Rotterdam or schedule a free video call so I can show you the materials digitally.

Tailored advice
With individual colour drapes, you can offer tailored advice by comparing various shades one by one. This allows you to immediately discover which colours match best and what the client personally prefers. You’ll advise your clients on which colours suit them most, which ones combine well, and how to create attractive colour combinations. If your intention is to have quick colour analysis or if you are limited in space, the colour flags are very useful. You can start with the 6 basic flags and possibly expand later with 14 flags.
A unique experience
Every colour analysis is different. It is influenced not only by someone’s appearance but also by their personal taste and personality. For some, bold colour contrasts or prints work well, while for others, solid, tone-on-tone combinations or delicate prints are more flattering. You can clearly see this with the individual colour drapes. And most importantly, the client will immediately know which colours to buy for their jacket, trousers, scarf, or lipstick. There is no standard colour consultation. At Colour Analysis Academy, you’ll learn how to turn a colour consultation into a unique experience.
