What data do we collect?
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, requested a download, signed up for a free online workshop and/or training, filled in a contact form, made a purchase, or requested any other service or product, you will be asked to provide your details. We only process the data you voluntarily provide to us. This may include the following information:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Website
- Company name
- Street name and house number
- Postcode and city
- KvK number (unique entrepreneur ID)
- IP address
- VAT number
For what purpose do we use personal data?
The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:
- Your first name and email address are used for sending commercial newsletters and retargeting via Facebook ads. This is only done with data obtained through free document downloads and workshop/training requests, not with data received through contact or quotation forms.
- Your first name, email address, and telephone number, as entered in a contact form, are used to create a quotation and/or respond to contact requests.
- We store the data in MailChimp and will send you a one-time email requesting your consent in compliance with GDPR regulations. If no consent is given, this data will be deleted at the end of each month. This is also stated in the respective forms.
Your data
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, requested a download, signed up for a free online workshop and/or training, filled in a contact form, or made a purchase and no longer wish to receive emails from us in the future, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us directly.
Your email address will be immediately removed from our database and will not be retained.
Your personal data is stored in our email system, which operates via MailChimp’s servers.
Additionally, we share data obtained through free workshop/training requests with Facebook to create advertising audiences.
Purchases

Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except when necessary to fulfil your order.
For payments made via Color Analysis Academy, you will always be redirected to a Payment Processor’s website through a secure connection. Your payment details (such as iDEAL transaction data) are not stored on my servers and are not retained by Hi Style. The only data we store is:
- First and last name – To deliver your order to the correct person.
- Address, postcode, and city – To ensure correct delivery of your order.
- Telephone number – If necessary, to inform you about your order or provide last-minute changes regarding your training. This field is never mandatory.
- Email address – You will receive a confirmation and invoice via email after placing an order. If shipping is involved, PostNL or MyParcel will send an email with the tracking code.
- IP address – Stored during order placement to detect payment fraud.
If you start a transaction but do not complete it, your transaction data (name, address, email, and IP) will be deleted from our server at the end of the month.
Personal data security
We have taken appropriate technical measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. These measures include encryption via an SSL certificate and two-factor authentication, ensuring a security level appropriate for the data we process.
Cookies

Data retention period
We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected. If you unsubscribe from our emails, your personal data will be deleted from the system by the end of the month.
Data stored in our accounting and CRM system is retained for at least 7 years to comply with legal obligations. These records will be deleted within one year after the expiration of this obligation.
The above retention period applies unless there is a legal requirement for us to keep data longer.
Your rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, after which we will no longer process your data. This withdrawal does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal.
